I’ve been creating for the web for over 20 years and have worked freelance for over 10 years.   I’m a multi-disciplined web developer helping clients with all aspects of their web presence from initial branding through to complex coding to marketing.

I graduated from the University of Brighton with a BSc Computer Studies degree in 2003, armed with a strong understanding of analysing and structuring data, programming languages and writing clean, well-structured code.

My first position was as a multimedia and web developer at Christon Davies, a design and marketing agency.  This provided invaluable experience of brand communication, effective marketing,  graphic design and project management.

In 2005 I became Senior Web Developer at Leicester College, managing their internal and external websites and multimedia, a position which gave me a good understanding of web standards and best practices, usability and accessibility.  I also taught HTML and CSS as part of their Web Development course.

Working freelance since 2007, the commercial experience I’ve gained has made me a multi-disciplined web developer able offer clients a full range of services.

I live in Devon with my husband and two children.  When I’m not developing for the web I can be found enjoying the great outdoors or learning how to throw clay pots on a wheel!

" Working with Sallie-ann is a real pleasure. She grasped our brief very quickly and had a great understanding of where we wanted to take our brand. She pays great attention to detail and is extremely conscientious. We’ve had a lot of positive feedback from our customers and will continue to work with her in the future. "
